During the seventeenth century, Louis XIV transformed a "common" Bourbon palace into a wondrous imperial residence; in the same way, today the artist has turned a "simple" motorcycle into a fantastic work of art ...and fantastic is the most appropriate adjective, given that the ultimate goal of Baroque art was to arouse feelings of surprise, wonder, and amazement in the viewer.
Shoots, valves, and scrolls radiate from the complex compositional architecture, all fixed onto the spikes of a radial gate: a citation of the Grille Royale of Versailles, from which the artistic composition draws its inspiration.
The decorative and symbolic elements that make up the famous ironwork are proposed here in an unusual and refined stylistic research.
Unmistakable are the symbols of the royal house of King Louis XIV, known as the Sun King: the monarch's personal crown, the scepter of the Main de Justice, and the distinguished Fleur-de-Lys: the heraldic figure of the lily which in medieval France assumed the meaning of an emblem of royalty and distinguished the coat of arms of the royal house.
